A taste of home
Nothing brings people together better than a good meal. Vietnamese Cooking Night is an event where the VISA UCR community gets in the kitchen together, cooks familiar dishes from home, and shares those flavors with each other.
You don't need to know how to cook — just bring a good attitude and willingness to learn. Experienced members will guide you step by step, from simmering phở broth to rolling the perfect spring roll.
Open to all UCR students. Bring your international friends to experience Vietnamese cuisine!
Slow-simmered beef broth, rice noodles, rare beef, and fresh herbs.
Crispy baguette with meat filling, pickled vegetables, cilantro, and chili.
Traditional dessert with mung beans, red beans, jelly, and coconut milk.
Fresh spring rolls with shrimp, vermicelli, fresh vegetables, and peanut dipping sauce.
Learn to cook classic Vietnamese dishes alongside fellow community members.
The taste of home brings you closer to family even when you're far away.
Sharing a meal is the best way to connect and build lasting friendships.
